EN71-1:2005 was amended recently by amendment A6:2008. The new amendments have% n" y n Z3 b; M2 r3 {
specified new requirements and new test methods for certain toys. Some of the affected clause1 U, \# J$ |1 Y8 U; Q

New requirement is added for metallic wires that are not designed to be bent but are likely

produce hazardous sharp points, or protrude through the toy cover, when tested by the

Requirements for temperature rises are defined for toy containing non-electrical heat
