It was agreed that although manufacturer 's declaration may well be taken into consideration,0 K! D+ {. _* H7 h* ~
however testing must be performed to ensure that requirements of IEC61010-1 is met.

In IEC61010-1, there is no requirement to simulate the ageing process of critical components8 s# }/ M( N* l4 |7 `
such as the mains / isolating transformers.
