Question:
This clause specifies requirements for connections to the mains supply source and
: K9 ^' \$ r# l1 iconnections between parts of equipment. Clause 6.10.1 specifies requirements only for
! q7 f# t- L: H" g; Nmains supply cords, where are the requirements for connections between partsof the
9 W: P* v# r+ o8 a0 ?4 A$ q9 \equipment ?

Decision:
It has been agreed that where such connections are at mains potential than the requirement of
sub-clause 6.10 applies.
Explanatory Notes:
There are requirements for interconnecting cords for connecting parts of a system under
IEC61010-1.
% Q; v  _& S! M/ O/ eWhere interconnecting cables are at mains potent ial, it is important that such cords are at
least equivalent to the supply mains cord requirements.
