It was agreed that although manufacturer 's declaration may well be taken into consideration,+ R( y0 b" [! h+ c Z
however testing must be performed to ensure that requirements of IEC61010-1 is met.8 _2 p( j% _0 |/ r) d
Explanatory Notes:
4 N; X# E8 I( |! k" D) P1 N- gIn IEC61010-1, there is no requirement to simulate the ageing process of critical components
; X6 a- F1 o$ ^) h! z* Ksuch as the mains / isolating transformers.* C( B6 Z0 l. R+ L4 I! K
It should be noted that after each single fault condition test, where necessary, the required+ i) [, M% W) B' ^; S$ _
high voltage test must also be applied to ensure that at least basic insulation exists.& p1 V6 ]; N4 F+ a+ G
Note that under compliance criteria there is no reference to 'Declaration by manufacturer'.
