5 Classification of equipment
5 B) z: |3 Z- q) z* mFor the purpose of harmonic current limitation, equipment is classified as follows:

– balanced three-phase equipment;
+ Z" \) Z; @3 P* B, {) e– household appliances, excluding equipment identified as class D;- o* ~% N2 s% t) W
– tools, excluding portable tools;+ l% S/ y7 w# z1 B* L& Z- Q* O. T
– dimmers for incandescent lamps;: J$ ~# u( m# M- q
– audio equipment.
7 Z: P% b4 c* q7 D0 v, LEquipment not specified in one of the three other classes shall be considered as class A1 S4 U2 M$ c5 U, L; R5 z, I
equipment.
z: N% d% f+ c2 s7 O \ BNOTE 1 Equipment that can be shown to have a significant effect on the supply system may be reclassified in a

– number of pieces of equipment in use;

– simultaneity of use;

– arc welding equipment which is not professional equipment.
