For the purpose of harmonic current limitation, equipment is classified as follows:+ @6 c4 L$ ?* s

– balanced three-phase equipment;
7 ]' V9 ~: @ a+ f$ D9 k) k7 g9 b– household appliances, excluding equipment identified as class D;( j) n' X1 U% d, c7 T, I( S3 p" k
– tools, excluding portable tools;
3 b( s& m1 N5 Y2 G– dimmers for incandescent lamps;
$ i' j- x& N9 q– audio equipment.1 o' U2 H4 h7 o' x3 X
Equipment not specified in one of the three other classes shall be considered as class A* o# I; S! J* A
equipment.
* f/ ~/ I' i# H1 B8 L7 f# o; qNOTE 1 Equipment that can be shown to have a significant effect on the supply system may be reclassified in a, ?' ^/ T! }( m# a9 G
future edition of the standard. Factors to be taken into account include:

– portable tools;
