Question: Is it possible to issue approvals on luminaires provided with LEDs light source?

% P0 n+ c7 N w- p0 ^3 j(1) The LED circuit is verified according to IEC/EN 61347-2-2 (*) or IEC/EN4 o+ G2 n: A' G# a0 h8 B
61347-2-11. If the laser emits radiation in the wavelength range from 180 nm to 1( C7 e: g0 D$ `% C8 R8 ^0 \
mm, the LED shall also be tested according to IEC/EN 60825 –1 (Safety of laser4 t0 J8 p; l" p1 n4 i$ L
products). Only LEDs classified as Class 1 lasers can be used without problems

the instructions all the necessary information to supply the LED circuit
! I- b2 H& M7 {, n$ ^correctly or shall inform the Testing Station about the trade mark, the type
$ Y9 S* Z1 J7 r4 {and the technical characteristics of the appropriate control gear. There can

luminaire manufacturer; an electronic control gear clearly specified on the
