- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical/Electronic Engineering or similar knowledge level.
, n ?) z2 H+ k0 H/ I- Strong safety knowledge (IEC & UL)( c- h0 L' G% d+ H" v) A! x! j
- Strong ability to deal with/learn international test/safety standards.
* M, J% U2 w* ?/ w- p- Creative and pro-active in translating knowledge from testing result into proposals for improvements.
# ]; |3 L5 \) }3 \- Several years of experience in small appliances safety certification/testing.) h$ a' u( r4 f3 v* J
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written and presentations).
" f$ h, ^5 d# y/ v+ ]0 C$ c+ \- Strong capabilities to communicate with management and colleagues in the own product organization, as well as external suppliers, testing institutes and service centers.

As a Safety Engineer your main tasks will be to;
& X3 r$ G" {2 X- Be responsible for safety tests/certification of small appliances./ ~; v) n; P9 z: L' Z! v; V* D' f
- Be the safety consultant of small appliances.' W/ G7 L+ M! L u9 h5 D) W
- Communicate with testing institutes to deal with the certification/safety test problems.! @+ q6 W5 H% c
- Test according to IEC/UL and national standard4 m3 P( f1 ~, _' e) p8 E/ m
- Guide/instruct the team members in the right way to perform safety tests.
5 t( W% G" X/ j4 Y- Check instructions for use and do corresponding adjustments and/or additions. 1 z* _" u$ F* c5 i
- Plan the lab activities and time required for the tests# a% ]3 Z$ A# b) d
- Evaluate test results and create new solutions and improvements.8 H$ q( g* F. i5 n
