之前做过风扇的测试,如果是摇头风扇,和电源线关系不大,也就是电源线不会做弯曲实验,因为风扇的头在摆动时电源线是跟着摆动,是通过机械连接,转轴里面的配线跟着转动的幅度也不大,但是针对厂家,需要做寿命进行验证,经过X次循环后,有没有异音,或者卡死现象等等。

电源线供应商的测试只能当作参考,关键是我们自己要进行确认.
Couldbe, you are right if you wanna double check if there is a question with some components, but how you can imagine, there are so many components in a complex final products, so we can let the provider to do some tests which we wanna do, but this action normally, is guaranteed by a third party or some approval agency. For example, if the flexible cords/power supply cords have already aproved by UL or some other approval agencies, then this flexible test, or some tests kind of this must be done when the manufacturer apply for the approval...That's what I mean.

当然, 我们没有必要去做那么多测试, 我们只要测试和我们相关的测试即可以,比方说如要做电源线摇摆测试,我们肯定不相信供应商提供的测试报告,我们必须自己测试其符合要求才可以.

perhaps, if your products' standard requires you to do some tests(type test, routine test), but it's for the final product, not for its components...

Agree with your opinion, so I think the cord flexing test should be performed at the poster's side not at the supplier's side.

其实这个flexing test与电线有无认证无关。比如UL1017的吸尘器,同样是要摇摆测试的,为什么?因为吸尘器在使用过程中会经常弯折电线。明白UL1017的要求,UL507的要求不难理解:

一概认为零部件有UL认证就可以豁免测试,这是一个很大的误区,专标很多会根据产品的实际情况做一些特别的测试,所以很多时候就会考虑到部件的可接受性(condition of acceptable),简称COA。其实就是考察部件的suitable。Recoginzed的部件很多是不一定可接受的。
