I agree with you. However, almost all companies try to depress your salary as deeply as they can, even they know you may worth more. By the way, could you please tell me more about the tax and welfare beyond salary, as far as you know?

Normally, the salary is total income before tax . So, floor owner, you will get about 8.5K RMB finally if you have 10K RMB a month in Shenzhen.

If 10K in my area, 10% house allowance,9% social security, and plus personal income tax, then total about 30% will be disappeared after tax, that means, about 7K will be available after tax...
