+ U4 a5 x7 u5 a4 O" o( s4 s& b1. Member States shall adopt and publish the provisions
# N: \( \* _. O9 v9 \) Tnecessary to comply with this Directive by 29 June 2008 at the
) `9 I* C; l4 h7 J; n! E6 Klatest. They shall forthwith inform the Commission thereof.- T: x2 J1 D. o% W
They shall apply those provisions with effect from 29
) U7 `; G9 W/ U1 a/ O$ {8 ^( S8 DDecember 2009.% P; o" }: C, {0 d2 M* x+ [
When Member States adopt those provisions, they shall contain/ Q4 f; f5 l6 D+ p7 u! O& b3 h7 ^
a reference to this Directive or shall be accompanied by such- B- T* |1 F/ H
reference on the occasion of their official publication. Member" ]* ^% e9 U+ j+ V
States shall determine how such reference is to be made. j/ C* t# E( w) b4 D
2. Member States shall communicate to the Commission the+ _3 a; X* p' v( d5 |0 W
text of the provisions of national law which they adopt in the
* y# t j) f4 f j+ cfield covered by this Directive, together with a table showing
4 C; V$ P1 g8 K$ `" _' Qhow the provisions of this Directive correspond to the national; }9 L1 h' W, ]2 R
provisions adopted.

7 K+ |- {5 n- t$ PUntil 29 June 2011 Member States may allow the placing on& A8 W: S, F, R& F& z8 e3 b
the market and the putting into service of portable cartridgeoperated
/ p3 Z8 i' `9 N0 Y1 b" ~fixing and other impact machinery which are in
: y& G2 W; j4 K8 C+ zconformity with the national provisions in force upon adoption0 a; G F4 \. T Y R% C
of this Directive.

This Directive shall enter into force on the 20th day following+ U- l* J x% T7 X& G& c
its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union. |
