LPS申请是自愿的，可以看60950-1第2.5章节。

测试必须过就不用说了吧，除非厂家别有用心。

如果你指的是60950里面的LPS，
1. LPS不是必须通过的，但是如果能通过的话，对电源后接产品的外壳材料的防火要求可以降低，所以一般客户都要求测试；
! ~& M& E' b2 k( J2. LPS没有单独的标识，如果你标上‘LPS’字样，认证公司也不会反对；
3. 某些认证公司的证书上会写明你的产品通过LPS测试。

60950中：2.5 Limited power sources
A limited power source shall comply with one of the following, a), b, c) or d):
) b! L9 U% O8 o9 U5 A9 Ma) the output is inherently limited in compliance with Table 2B; or
b) a linear or non-linear impedance limits the output in compliance with Table 2B. If a
$ \/ o7 h: F0 ~# H& }# @3 Ypositive temperature coefficient device is used, it shall pass the tests specified in IEC
/ m7 b/ B* X, c. z60730-1, Clauses 15, 17, J.15 and J.17; or
