some changes in our Quality Assurance Programs for 2009.

Canada must be Phthalate Compliant per Toys R Us guidelines. This standard applies to all

type.
) ?* V5 `4 X! o. h; q2 w9 Z* r• For imported items, the Phthalate compliance must be noted to receive a certificate of: |6 b6 E1 f Q
compliance. On “domestic purchase orders, Toys R Us Canada will periodically request
7 B4 H1 v/ A* C8 w4 U$ x4 Udocumentation supporting the Phthalate mandate.
# Q1 U9 s8 M5 i+ t/ O, D- s• All items within scope of AB 1108, CPSIA, or EU phthalate directive must be “P4” compliant( _8 M. E9 N7 i; _" k2 }
(i.e. not contain greater than 0.1% w/w of DEHP, DBP, BBP, or DnHP). Mouthable items
" C/ S! C( R: s$ ]must additionally not contain <0.1% DnOP, DIDP, or DINP (“P7” compliant).
. s' x& C, K9 I+ A" s q• Phthalates will be tested in surface coatings; also inaccessible components may be tested5 c& Y2 J1 S9 U- Y u: ?1 C
