EQUIPMENT with an internal battery intended for back-up power in the event of a failure of the
; S( ~8 T3 w4 d+ lSUPPLY MAINS as a power source. Further, how can one say whether the external
! D% `8 }% h  `5 R& ZPROTECTIVE EARTH CONDUCTOR arrangement is in doubt or not?
Decision:
The Instructions for use shall include for CLASS I EQUIPMENT the following statement:
“WARNING: THIS EQUIPMENT MUST ONLY BE CONNECTED TO A SUPPLY MAINS
WITH PROTECTIVE EARTH.”
