$ }9 A# Q0 \" d5 W5 qFor the measurement of the open circuit voltage on a ballast with two lamps in series:
1) Is it correct to take the measurements across both lamps, not one at the time, because the
$ [5 m1 q) _3 T' Itotal voltage of the two lamps in series has to be measured?
2) If the answer to 1) is yes, does it make sense to take the value referred in the data sheet to
one lamp as the limit value of the open circuit voltage during preheating (measured across
two lamps)?
3) During ignition, the open circuit voltage shall be greater than the minimum voltage

the minimum voltage for two lamps in series or has the minimum value for one lamp to be
