5 r& K. A5 z/ }According to sub-clause 11.7 of part 2-7, appliances incorporating a programmer are operated with the program that results in the highest temperature rise.
3 U" T' Q/ a; z4 x6 l3 W) |Sub-clause 3.1.9 requires the use of 50% of the load if this gives higher power input or current.
/ t6 t4 p: s# f) zSome new fully electronic programmers of washing machines automatically perform different programs when half a load is used even if the program selected is the same used for full load. f! i+ `7 m4 U
The difference between the programs, automatically selected by the appliance, do not allows to comply the requirements of 11.7 and 3.1.9 at the same time (worse load and most unfavourable program) in such a way that using the two possibilities the limits may be exceeded in one case and not in the other.& i% w& I( A, ` r c8 b
The question is how to perform clause 11 in this case.

If the power input or current is higher when only 50 % of the textile material is used, the appliance is operated with this load instead if this gives more unfavourable conditions than the full load during the test of Clause 11.
