If a plug is an integral part of plug-in equipment, that equipment shall not cause overheating of the pins or impose undue strain on fixed socket-outlets. Compliance is checked by sub-clause 14.23.2.% j9 T( w; h: I
For adaptors, intermediate adaptors included (e.g. plug-in timers), the adaptor is first fitted with a plug complete with 1 m of 0,75 mm2 circular flexible cable according to 227 IEC 53, to each socket-outlet portion of the adaptor.
