Yes,the Annual Maintenance Fee (AMF) is billed on January 31 of each year. The AMF is based on a graduated scale tied to the number of files that are established for each Applicant/Manufacturer combination. The Annual Maintenance Fee contributes to the following:0 d2 |8 i9 u1 a( B
• Support and maintenance of our UL’s databases and other systems regarding UL Listings, Recognitions and Classifications.7 ^! c3 {- H8 I% D$ D/ j: F# z
• Mailings of information to clients relative to surveillance activities. - w7 p$ W2 d5 Q$ `6 w
• Assistance by office and field staff with technical questions that clients and Field Representatives may have during inspections. ) Q" s4 E/ w0 W$ P

The AMF is globally uniform (although there may be some slight geographic based variances due to local currency exchange rate issues) but all clients share in a prorated portion of the activities explained above. The AMF is based on the applicant - file number count per manufacturing location. |
