The apparatus covered by this standard is subdivided into categories. For each category,

electromechanical switches and thermostats.

This category includes apparatus provided with rechargeable batteries which can be charged) E( l5 v. K9 j$ X1 b& s
by connecting the apparatus to the mains power. However, this apparatus shall also be tested" r3 \* H. p* l0 ?% A
as an apparatus in category II while it is connected to the mains network.8 U {; w V$ T+ E
