Although for EN 60335-2-9:2003/A12:2007 the DOW is 2010-10-01, A12:2007 should be considered immediately. / {1 A8 P, k5 n2 V: u" v9 m' G- D
The topic was discussed during the last Ek1 meeting and it was decided to withdraw all GS certificates that do not refer to A12:2007 within 6 months (till 2009-11-06) and if there is a thermal danger.
. a& e2 e8 f$ I; W [Reason is the opinion of the European Commission that the EN 60335-2-9 without A12 gives no presumption of conformity. Attached you will find the official documents of the EK1 and the European Commission that have to be followed.

• We have to take care for the thermal dangers of those appliances. 5 W+ _/ h- Z3 z, Y
• We need to carry out a risk analysis. A12:2007 has to be fulfilled immediately.
