UL   appliance internal wires 之UL 758 电子线都需要满足 VW-1.從2018-01-01開始執行.

10.8 Internal wiring composed of insulated conductors shall comply with the Standard for Appliance

Exception No. 1: Insulated conductors need not comply with UL 758， if they comply with one of the
following:
a) The Standard for Thermoset-Insulated Wires and Cables, UL 44;
& {& b& d9 C4 q# |5 Z7 x4 _b) The Standard for Thermoplastic-Insulated Wires and Cables, UL 83; or
" |# B4 \( [, x$ tc) The applicable UL standard for other insulated conductor types specified in Wiring Methods
, f2 @& `# R* p2 f. p$ @# iand Materials, of the National Electrical Code, NFPA 70.

Exception No. 2: Insulated conductors for specialty applications (e.g. data processing or communications)
and located in a low-voltage circuit not involving the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons need
not comply with UL 758.

Exception No. 3: Wiring in the appliance does not need to be VW-1 if all of the following criteria are met:

3 Y. R% s; l# Y7 _2 @+ ra) Wire insulation consists of silicone or inorganic materials with glass or aramid braid fiberous
covering. [For reference, examples UL Style 3251, 3257, 5420]

8 K% ~& V. N' u8 r, E/ h$ Mb) Conductors shall be stranded copper wire having a 600 Vac minimum insulation rating for
high voltage circuits and having a 300 Vac insulation rating for low voltage circuits. Maximum
) w7 B1 j% @. @1 X# z3 g6 [current rating would be based on Table 10.1.

rated VW-1.
