Does PTFE basic insulated cable in the interior of a chandelier pipe in a luminaire meet the requirements, r5 {% u! Y, y# u# l! Z& O3 U
of sub clause 5.3 of IEC 60598-1 provided that the insulation in question meets the dielectric strength1 }9 D8 g5 \* q' n
required but the thickness of that insulation is only 0,2 mm.

According to IEC this is acceptable, the 0,6 mm reference in the standard is only required for PVC and
