Question:
+ f6 }& H! X4 WSometimes a terminal block for supply connection is directly fitted to a tag of luminaire housing (serving& l( J0 I8 g9 J( Q' X
as internal earth connection) without additional fixation of the terminal block. As the rigidity of this tag is
3 ]1 y+ t- `* B5 Cmostly sufficient, it seems that the fixation of the terminal block is adequate. However during supply
" O0 O4 `8 ]3 X+ y& P0 i3 H5 `connection unacceptable mechanical stresses to this earth connection can occur. Even in the case where
( d# P" x9 d- Z; C% {1 @the terminal block is additionally fixed by means of plastic clips, an unbending fixation of the terminal' M0 W( @6 M! `+ d/ \& b7 ^
block, in particular when serving the supply terminals, is not always guaranteed. Attention has to be paid- j; @0 G3 d) V% y/ [- ]
also to the question if a terminal block, fixed only to a tag of the luminaire housing, has to be regarded as
: L/ k7 e0 g$ Ua loose terminal block.

6 G" k6 _( _7 l6 j0 S6 ~Fixation of a terminal block, to a tag of the luminaire housing is only allowed if this connection+ ^5 C* a, p; z( [1 S* T3 } e w
guarantees sufficient reliability. Additional fixation may be required to prevent unacceptable mechanical
