Transposition
. Y: y8 O7 x8 ~9 h9 a% ?1. Member States shall adopt and publish the provisions
3 C6 b% u4 ?* ?- R I" E- {necessary to comply with this Directive by 29 June 2008 at the% j' K) A' k& C
latest. They shall forthwith inform the Commission thereof.
" K# k: t' \1 R. q+ k9 ^2 j7 |They shall apply those provisions with effect from 291 Z5 Z3 j1 f5 {9 W
December 2009.& F' |- I( d% |
When Member States adopt those provisions, they shall contain
7 z( Z% a5 e# M5 na reference to this Directive or shall be accompanied by such
5 a6 {' s! o+ ^) U7 ^: ~reference on the occasion of their official publication. Member& \+ f3 x9 ]& z; z5 E
States shall determine how such reference is to be made.- v% M8 J5 q* @8 p0 h- ]2 B
2. Member States shall communicate to the Commission the. c; O: {) c/ F9 O* A
text of the provisions of national law which they adopt in the9 d! X: G) ^0 j& Z! u) K
field covered by this Directive, together with a table showing
; W q7 N7 t( F9 B+ ?( f; Phow the provisions of this Directive correspond to the national
$ f' m" N; d" [! f7 C% p0 I0 yprovisions adopted.7 `, J/ a# Y& L# A5 Z" v

Derogation7 {7 b8 o5 h6 C) |! E
Until 29 June 2011 Member States may allow the placing on
8 S; S1 W4 n$ G4 b3 G6 Xthe market and the putting into service of portable cartridgeoperated. M4 a- {: r! j# A& t% r
fixing and other impact machinery which are in g: W8 E9 Q/ k" t9 `
conformity with the national provisions in force upon adoption
& }" G9 I; e- G1 @. s" Y% Aof this Directive.

Entry into force
7 h8 `8 z3 Q& U+ k* fThis Directive shall enter into force on the 20th day following
! a1 ?; i; d* C' G, lits publication in the Official Journal of the European Union. |
