It is very common to use modular connectors (e.g. RJ-11, RJ-12, RJ-45), accessible to the2 _& p" {, K7 z# K$ d% h o" e# G
users, for a variety of transmission functions, both telecommunication and data.; L1 q4 S" v0 e8 ]6 g8 y9 V
Unfortunately, RJ-11 modular connectors easily mate with other configurations of modular
+ y8 p) a9 b1 Y9 v7 l& @connectors: RJ-12, RJ-45. This sub-clause permits marking only for connectors accessible/ z: [: o* \6 _) r5 {* {
to Service Personnel and, on the other hand, relying on configuration as a means of b# n/ Y* @! q
preventing miss-mating is unrealistic.
