Is the plastic material fixing the plug of a battery pack of a hand-held power tool evaluated as insulation material and subjected to the glow-wire tests in 30.2.3.1 and 30.2.3.2, even if the battery pack is not included in the tests of IEC 60335-2-29 if the rated output current is less than 20A?- S3 C) C4 f0 E, W# z
Is IEC 60335-2-29 also applicable to a combined battery charger and battery pack, if the battery pack is a special one (e.g. for hand-held tools) only chargeable by the battery charger and with safety relevant components (e.g. thermal protector) inside.' Z& K7 ]9 ~1 M

$ ^* P, ~/ @% l% u/ ]1.- For the figure, it is clear in the standard that sub-clauses 30.2.2 and 30.2.3 applies to any plastic material supporting connection regardless the distance to the point of the connection.
