1 - During the heating test the temperature of a known insulation class system exceeds the
temperature limits specified in sub-clause 11.5. In this case, is it possible to jump multiple
1 O& V3 x: _2 D) I- I4 v$ K! kinsulation classes when using 11.6. (This would mean that the test of clause 11.6 is
# f% c6 S4 K, C# P2 D3 kapplicable whatever the value of exceeding temperature rise) ?
- I- M; F3 g2 A9 M/ E- S6 n2 – How is the measurement of temperatures on armatures windings performed, specially
when the windings of the rotor are not easily accessible? Is it possible to use infrared guns?
Decisions:
' N( T& _% V. i+ W+ m1- The clause 11.6 is applicable for any temperature rise value independently of the
insulation class
2 a5 y- {) z: g9 H  ~2- Resistance variation method is generally used, dismantling the motor and extrapolating
  n/ i0 {9 w/ e  Lwith a resistance/time curve, if necessary.
Other methods (Infrared , thermocouples) are not widely used and need to be confirmed.
