9.3.4.2.3 Results to be obtained
- A+ h& L# R+ B0 E! a2 T! Q- R! \The contactor, starter, or the combination starter, the combination switching device, the
5 H; j; j( s& J+ W) ~* Rprotected starter or the protected switching device, shall be considered to have passed the+ i9 M9 P2 N4 Y2 r5 ]
tests at the prospective current "r" and, where applicable, the prospective current Iq, if the
% C& h/ c& q; O& c3 [& r% _following conditions are met for the claimed type of co-ordination.' i- j5 c( ~% J* L" M) e& V) U
Type "2" co-ordination (all devices):
3 C5 F3 q; L" f: @) Z$ R! cJ No damage to the overload relay or other parts has occurred, except that welding of
* [4 M( @3 v6 |+ Jcontactor or starter contacts is permitted, if they are easily separated (e.g. by a
1 s& V' U. `5 F9 A8 z0 b0 m- ^0 {screwdriver) without significant deformation, but no replacement of parts is permitted# j' V6 M/ W! N6 u4 l, ~
during the test, except that, in the case of fuse protection, all fuse-links shall be replaced.
+ ]; U4 Y6 N+ ?7 ]! {In the case of welded contacts as described above, the functionality of the device shall
$ c' O3 _' P# T; Vbe verified by carrying out 10 operating cycles under the conditions of Table 8 for the K% V6 c) N) z( ^! F
applicable utilization category.

- Using a tool (eg. a screwdriver) for separating the welded contact or for moving an operating+ `/ C5 l( [; f1 ]
means.
& }4 H+ ?$ e' n0 GIt is also allowed to remove covers or housing of the contactor according to the instruction of; O6 X; b0 n& i3 l
the manufacturer.$ d; [* D4 n v% H3 r# \
"Without significant deformation" means a deformation without impairing the insulation of the& ]% _' j; i; f
contactor (see d) and i) of this Clause) and successfully performing the 10 operation cycle
