56.1 b) requires that ratings of components shall not conflict with the conditions of use in
( F7 M; {& Q1 ^7 c5 OEQUIPMENT. There are no requirements for components themselves to meet specific: Z' Z& v8 v1 m8 o
standards which include the control of reliability.

It is strongly recommended that components in the MAINS PART and in APPLIED PARTS* ?# V4 r# z* L
should comply with recognised component standards, consistent with their use. The following8 p& F# @4 b5 w$ s

1. International standards (e.g. IEC, ISO etc.). P# N7 ]+ g0 ^, J
2. National standards (e.g. BSI, DIN, UL etc.)

The manufacturer’s tests and controls, supported by appropriate technical documentation.
