标题: PCB板上的标识问题
PCB板上的UL file no 和型号是否必须要标明，例如（E226038          ET-005)

需要包含以下四个内容。, k  G( C6 \- L  M
A:Recognize marking---认可标志RU8 @/ B- |/ i6 S  `. G. B
B:Recognize Company name or trade mark---认可公司名称或者商标
2 `4 ?" K( A, D5 ~2 pC：Type designation---UL型号
3 a/ H) m# K& m8 @D:Factory ID(if any)---工厂代码（如果有）
. k" m, w3 x3 H7 \$ [7 w# S# T0 S对于认可产品，可以不标ul file no.

For this, you need to check the description of its UL FUS procedures, and in the marking requirments, there should be indications.

Normally, the UL file No. is not an necessary element for PCB, but sometimes, the E No. was used to indicate the recognized company name, and similar. So totally depends on the description of its UL file...

But if the RU mark was indicated on the label/products, then the RU mark itself should comply with the description of the Recognized Marking Data Page in the FUS procedure...

Actually, only the customer wants to know where the PWBs come from, but we have below options to find it out:
2 w5 F* P' B, |2 Y0 w1. If the UL file No. is indicated, then directly know the PCB's manufacturer;: @% V8 A2 e7 y8 b# W% w
2. If the UL file No. is not indicated, then the trade mark and the recognized company name could be the root to find it out;! o1 @( a3 A& q0 r; }6 l
3. And finally, if the customer still can not dig it, then directly ask the supplier of the PCB, that's the only option.( U9 B3 f9 C4 X. n' L5 w( m

And if I were you, I can 99% to find the PCB supplier information even there is UL file No. information and without directly asking the PCB's supplier...

You know, the type designation(Part. No.) of the PCB is the necessary element, so you can use this part No. and the PCB's CCN(ZPMV2) and log into the www.UL.com, then use the online directory, then you 99% can find out the PCB maunufacturer's information...

2. UL file No. or trade mark, or the recoginzed company name.( U& ], @/ \* @% O

If all above is not indicated on the PCB, then that's the PCB supplier's issue, you need to communicate with the PCB supplier, in order to correct it and comply with UL requirements...  ?6 g4 l* I* h& G) y

OK，就是model name，FILE no.  LOGO ， company name 四者中至少要有一个来识别供应商就可以了，对吗？

You can reference the example which I cited previously for information.

! [( A8 b! f/ L' zAnd if the PCB is the product which your factory produces and will apply for the UL approval, then you need to focus on:7 _2 H1 B2 T0 y- [
1. The base board material should be UL R/C;: ]- ]2 E+ o' h7 V+ z6 g( o: e. E
2. The ink material should be UL R/C;& n' a& @4 K" P/ O5 }
3. Minimum conductor size;! z8 J: W* [9 v; `# K* t5 t
4. Minimum conductor distance;
/ I9 b6 s1 h7 M5. Minimum edge dimension;: [$ K" n, Y) u7 _; E
......) g: ^- t9 ~# I. X0 L
Also if your factory is the first time to apply for UL, then it's better for your factory to ask UL to have a pre-evaluation for your products, then that'll be useful for the UL application...0 b* [8 R6 m5 ?9 m$ C7 R/ o
