1 - During the heating test the temperature of a known insulation class system exceeds the
0 U5 ^7 }& p; y, D1 g& }1 ctemperature limits specified in sub-clause 11.5. In this case, is it possible to jump multiple$ g' @7 u- W8 m% P% t" I* K: c
insulation classes when using 11.6. (This would mean that the test of clause 11.6 is- m; b; I8 C( z
applicable whatever the value of exceeding temperature rise) ?
$ ]; v. N3 Z4 j2 – How is the measurement of temperatures on armatures windings performed, specially* |6 S1 G+ C3 \, L+ b1 w; ]7 `- i( r
when the windings of the rotor are not easily accessible? Is it possible to use infrared guns?' t/ X( J+ y! _+ _$ u4 W4 Q! c/ X

1- The clause 11.6 is applicable for any temperature rise value independently of the( D0 k& v" N- [' ^; o- D9 Q+ o

2- Resistance variation method is generally used, dismantling the motor and extrapolating7 U2 R4 ~% Z/ i4 z
with a resistance/time curve, if necessary.
