9.3.4.2.3 Results to be obtained
; Y9 w8 Z' H2 e/ U' \The contactor, starter, or the combination starter, the combination switching device, the
* R. F' X* u/ h9 ~protected starter or the protected switching device, shall be considered to have passed the
( c3 F) Y" B1 P( Ptests at the prospective current "r" and, where applicable, the prospective current Iq, if the
2 g0 X4 P& x* i7 y  ]4 ?0 ufollowing conditions are met for the claimed type of co-ordination.0 k- O1 f- C& T) q6 Q6 T! l
Type "2" co-ordination (all devices):1 I! b6 g$ z& v% `2 R3 w. h$ [
J No damage to the overload relay or other parts has occurred, except that welding of; j: L9 y) F% }. @2 H
contactor or starter contacts is permitted, if they are easily separated (e.g. by a1 f5 k2 r% b% E9 s, G. ]/ r
screwdriver) without significant deformation, but no replacement of parts is permitted- {3 R- R; |  e0 B) w: p
during the test, except that, in the case of fuse protection, all fuse-links shall be replaced.
; C8 V$ d+ b' W( OIn the case of welded contacts as described above, the functionality of the device shall
0 k' z( B! p0 h! `7 ^) Ybe verified by carrying out 10 operating cycles under the conditions of Table 8 for the- I' Z! ]0 L4 I' Q  E9 Y! c
applicable utilization category.

"Easily separated" means a separation realised on site for example by:

" S2 v# u8 F* d1 ]% L8 B% m( G- Using a tool (eg. a screwdriver) for separating the welded contact or for moving an operating& m2 t7 S( s; |* i6 \: }  s( z2 U

It is also allowed to remove covers or housing of the contactor according to the instruction of
