2 u" }5 e5 @% m  X1 m- the LED circuit shall be verified according to IEC/EN 61347-2-13 or IEC/EN) H7 n/ @, m% G9 ?. w
61347-2-11 (*) and the LED shall be tested according to IEC/EN 60825 –1. ?! D/ N- ]( P
(Safety of laser products) (§)-(#), if it has laser radiation in the wavelength0 t+ w5 H/ H" s  k3 ]
ranging from 180 nm to 1 mm. Only LEDs classified as Class 1 lasers can be
( @! K# q' d3 [/ g2 mused without problems for lighting purposes without protection.
- I# m' m: V' H- v! {  Z( L- The thermal tests required in Section 12 of IEC/EN 60598-1 shall be carried2 Z! q/ [1 k' t+ i  m( b
out as follows:

+ c( |. Y6 R  k" \9 A7 Xaccording to the requirements of IEC/EN 60598-2-6.

: Y& q6 _1 c) ]8 uinformation to power up the LED circuit correctly in the instruction sheet./ q. j1 G+ |; z4 e1 }( O3 O# ^
Alternatively, the manufacturer shall inform Testing Station about the8 [9 q; l" H; r0 }
trade mark, the type and the technical characteristics of the appropriate
' g/ p( f* `/ F1 t" Dcontrol gear to be used. There are three different control gears namely, the
! g2 i0 {9 {" @7 x+ P  o% P/ ?type and the trade mark as indicated by the luminaire manufacturer; an' j( N: x0 S( k: W9 ]
electronic control gear clearly specified in the luminaire instruction sheet
/ g( m: C; G2 z  y' g$ {1 o( f+ Hand a ferromagnetic control gear. The tests shall be carried out as required$ w+ C5 X8 f. [6 @  q1 A' |$ j; m
in Section 12 according to IEC/EN 60598-2-6 with the appropriate control% i5 o* g, V7 I: H% Z* t
