Housing prices show downward trend across the country
According to data from the national statistics authorities, housing prices across the country are showing a further downward trend. This comes as the country puts its weight behind cooling down the property market and maintaining prices at reasonable levels.In a monthly report released by the National Bureau of Statistics, the prices of newly built homes eased month on month in 48 of 70 major cities in January, while the prices in 22 cities remained flat. Meanwhile, the second-hand housing market is also showing signs of cool-down, with 54 cities seeing price drops last month.
