关于TC108的最新消息：

As you know there have been a lot of discussions on the proposal for Hazard Based Standard for safety in the field of ‘Audio/Video, Information and Communication Technology Equipment’.

The draft 108/325/FDIS has now been approved to become IEC 62368-1 Ed 1.0. The 108/355/RVD gives the overview of voting and comments by the National Committees. Please handle the documents with due care, as these are not officially published. The standard is assumed to be published late2009/early2010.



It is the recommendation of TC108 that the content of this publication be adopted for mandatory implementation nationally not earlier than five years from the date of publication of this standard. TC108 plans to come up with an improved revision within 3 years. More info will follow after the upcoming TC108 meeting 13-15 October 2009.

From a sales point of view please do not offer testing/certification to this new standard until further notice
