outdoor use灯具可以用在水下吗？
有没有人遇到这个问题：class2灯具做了UL676 水下灯具认证，UL要求在说明书中加上一句话“灯具安装位置距离水面不得少于4inch”，要求来源是NEC 680章节，也确实查到了有这句话。
相同的灯具也做了UL2108认证，可在户外使用，suitable for outdoor use.
问题来了，UL说UL2108不能用在泳池水下。这样一来水面下0-4inch范围内就不能装灯了。但是客户非常需要在这个0-4inch区域内装灯。
是这样吗？急等请大神解析.
可以看下UL1838，里面有水下灯：
1.6 This standard covers luminaires and low voltage system components intended for use submersed in or floating on:
a) portable self-contained fountains; and
b) ponds and other natural and artificially made body of water within the scope of Article 682 “Natural and Artificially Made Bodies of Water” of the National Electrical Code, NFPA 70. 依然 发表于 2019-6-11 14:04

我对比了680和682, 我个人认为680侧重人裸露皮肤长期接触的水体；682指680之外的水体，这些水体一般人皮肤不接触或不长期接触，或人接触的部位可能受限。
680.1 Scope. The provisions of this article apply to the construction and installation of electrical wiring for, and equipment in or adjacent to, all swimming, wading, therapeutic, and decorative pools; fountains; hot tubs; spas; and hydromassage bathtubs, whether permanently installed or

所以回到我的问题，如果客户指定用在泳池，那么4inch以下的要求是规避不了的吧？

谢谢你的意见。 依据产品用途选择适用的标准，所以如果是游泳池，就不能按照UL1838风景照明灯具来评估，那4inch的要求是一定要满足的。 依然 发表于 2019-6-14 17:52
