The percentage ofturns to be short-circuited shall be approximately equal to the short-circuitvoltage expressed as a percentage of the rated supply voltage. The specimenwith the short-circuit shall then be checked as follows. The unloaded transformershall be supplied at 1, 1 times the rated input voltage at ambient temperatureand the input power (watt) measured shall be equal to thevalue of the rated output with a tolerance of ±20%.
