除以上4种以外的情况：一般用途的开孔如通风孔等需满足：每一个孔的面积限制。 所有在同一个板材上开孔总面积的限制. 开孔位置限制不能位于电气部件之下，除非电气部件有保护.
开孔都是有原因的，但对于这些开孔要进行限制，比如通过这些孔可以碰到带电体或可能带电的部件，通过这些孔可以让火苗或融化物通过而不能阻止火势蔓延，防尘 防虫等原因.

就是在灯具表面有一个IP67密封的变压器，就这样在变压器伸出一条3Pin的电源电缆（不带插头）。
