What are the requirements for Lithium batteries.
Decision:
The requirements of clauses 6.2 d), 52.5.9 and 56.7 in IEC 601-1 have to be applied to Lithium
batteries.
Explanatory notes:
IEC 950 has requirements for Lithium batteries.
6.2 d), 56.7 and 52.5.9 (Failure of component) in IEC 601-1 cover already the requirements of 4.3.21
and 1.7.17 in IEC 950.
