What temperature limits should be applied in single fault condition?
Decision:
Refer to Table4 of IEC61010-1 ‘Motor temperature’.
Note: Where melting of insulation occurs this is not significant where it does not cause a
hazard.
Explanation:
Table 4 is to be amended to include transformers in its application in the next edition and a
text change included referring to hazards when insulation melts.
