Question:
Use of OEM power supplies approved to other standards such as
IEC 60950. What should be the criteria for accepting such PS in IEC 61010-1 products?
Decision:
It was agreed that OEM power supplies may be incorporated into equipment under the scope
of IEC 61010-1. However, additional testing should be performed to ensure that the full
requirements of IEC 61010-1 are met.
