Question:
The serial compensation for ballast should be tested as well, if this possibility is mentioned on the ballast.
This because the use of a serial capacitor might strongly affect the behaviour of the ballast. Do you agree?
Decision:
For a ballast marked with series capacitor, (even if it is a dotted line indicating the capacitor) the testing
shall be performed in this respect accordingly. The tolerances of the capacitor must also be taken into
account.
