Question:
According to IEC 60598-2-10/2003, the definition of the scope has changed. The reference to “childappealing”
has been suppressed and replaced by “luminaires for children”. Taking into account this new
standard, are the following portable luminaires in the scope of IEC 60598-2-10/2003 according to clause
10.1.1?
Decision:
The Group decided that the applicable standard is IEC/EN 60598-2-4.
