Question:
Some lighting chains are clearly dedicated to children bedrooms and have no specific temporary use like
Christmas. An example of such lighting chain is given below.
For this kind of luminaire, do we have to apply IEC 60598-2-20 only, or do we have additionally to take
into account requirements of IEC 60598-2-10?
Decision:
The majority is in favour to the application of IEC 60598-2-20.
