Question:
How should the test of sub-clause 21.101 of IEC/EN 60335-2-80 be performed?
Decision:
The standard does not require use of the test finger for the pull and push test. It is agreed that the intention of this test is to check the mechanical resistance of the grid wires and not to check the introduction of the finger through the grid gap, that is covered by the test of 20.2 of IEC 60335-1.
