Question:
Can a zinc alloy containing 97,4% of zinc and 2,6% of aluminium be considered as a suitable metal alloy according IEC 998-1, subclause 11.5, in respect of mechanical strength, electric conductivity and resistance to corrosion ?
Decision:
The subject zinc alloy cannot be accepted as a suitable metal according to IEC 998-1 subclause 11.5
