Question:
The dimension of “2 min” for the rim which is slightly rounded in the drawings C2, C6, C8, C8A, C8B, C10, C14, C16, C16A, C18. C20, C22 and C24 does not correspond with appertaining value (“1.5 min”) in the text of IEC 60320-1. Is the value of “1.5 min” given in the text correct?
Decision:
For the drawings C2, C6, C8, C8A, C8B, C10, C14, C16, C16A, C18. C20, C22 and C24 the value “1.5 min” shall be used for the rim which is slightly rounded. The relevant IEC/TC shall correct the drawings of IEC standard accordingly.
This DSH will be withdrawn automatically, when the relevant IEC standard is updated.
